Robyn Erbesfield-Raboutou is a 4x World Cup champion and one of the most decorated American climbers in history. After retiring from competition, she turned her focus to coaching and founding ABC as a place where children could discover their potential through climbing. She went on as the Head Coach of Team ABC to lead her team to being one of the best teams in the nation, winning 9 National Team Champion titles and dozens of individual National Champions, U.S Team Members, , and National Finalists. In the current day, Robyn sits on ABC's Board of Directors and continues to shape the vision and direction of the growing company.
Didier Raboutou is a world-class climber, coach, and co-founder of ABC Kids Climbing. Born and raised in France, Didier was among the top European climbers of the 1980s, representing the French National Team during the formative years of international sport climbing. After a successful competition career, Didier shifted his focus toward sharing his expertise with the next generation. Alongside his wife, he co-founded ABC Kids Climbing in Boulder, Colorado and also went on to contributing key insights to the design of ABC's newest facility in Naperville, IL, bringing the foundation of ABC philosophy to life in a brand new climbing market.
Brooke Raboutou is a multi-time Olympian and one of the most prominent American climbers on the international stage. Aa a youth athlete at ABC, Brooke earned multiple National Championship titles before transitioning to the elite circuit, where she has achieved multiple IFSC World Cup podium finishes in both Boulder and Lead. She made history as the first American climber to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where she finished 5th overall and inspired a global audience. She then went on to earn the silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and iconic milestone in American climbing history. Brooke continues to represent Team USA as a top competitor and remains deeply connected to ABC, embodying the values of excellence, commitment, and community that the program instills in every young climber.
Shawn Raboutou is one of the most accomplished boulderers of his generation, recognized internationally for establishing some of the hardest climbs in the world. Growing up on Team ABC, he developed a powerful, technical style that has led him to groundbreaking ascents such as Alphane (V17/9a), Megatron (V17/9a), and numerous V16 first ascents (FA's) and repeats across world. Shawn’s creativity and precision have positioned him at the forefront of modern outdoor bouldering. Today, he continues to push the sport’s upper limits while staying connected to the ABC Kids community that played a powerful role in his development.
