Indoor and outdoor, full day and half day summer camps, for kids age 5-16, all summer long!
Three or five fun filled days, each bringing new challenges and excitement for kids of all abilities. During this summer camp, kids will work on footwork and route reading, to develop efficiency and confidence in bouldering and rope climbing. Advanced climbers will work on a variety of advanced techniques catering to their ability.
Each week will include opportunities for teamwork and leadership not only through slacklining, art projects, Jiu Jitsu group games and special events and guests. New this year, we will be incorporating Leave No Trace education into our camp. We finish our each summer camp with a pizza party and certificates of accomplishments.
Age: 5 – 14 grouped according to age and ability
This week long indoor/outdoor summer camp is a fun introduction to outdoor climbing. Climbers spend part of their week learning skills indoors and part of the week putting those skills to practice outdoor. Inside the week will focus on teaching climbers safety skills and climbing techniques. On the outdoor days, climbers will put their new skills to practice in world-class climbing areas such as Eldorado Canyon and Boulder Canyon.
In this summer camp, climbers will learn team building and leadership skills, slackline, participate in art projects, group games and other challenges. At the end of the week they will have a pizza party.
Age: 6 – 14 grouped according to age and ability
This five day, outdoor summer camp is filled with climbs, adventure and fun! Throughout the week we will climb in famous areas such as the Flatirons, Eldorado Canyon and Boulder Canyon. The climbers will learn to rappel, zip-line across Boulder Creek to reach a crag, learn to place traditional climbing gear and challenge themselves on boulder problems and routes. In addition climbers will learn principles of Leave No Trace and it applies to climbing. Prerequisite: Previous climbing experience required.
