Varsity

Team ABC Boulder Varsity is a traveling select team of talented athletes that are dedicated to climbing and have a strong desire to compete locally, regionally and nationally. These athletes work together as a team, in a unified effort, to refine individual technique, movement, strength and conditioning. With an emphasis on fun, discipline and hard work, the Varsity climber grows mentally and physically.

Varsity athletes execute a consistent and aggressive training plan throughout the competition season. Balancing climbing skills with life skills is a challenge met with the grace, poise, intelligence and determination of each Varsity athlete. Team ABC Boulder Varsity climbers are amongst the most talented and decorated young athletes in the country, developing into possible US Team members and future National, Continental, and World Champion climbers.

Team ABC Boulder Varsity is proudly sponsored by companies that proudly support youth climbers and youth climbing.

Varsity athletes train at our local Partner Facilities occasionally throughout the season: The Spot Bouldering Gym, Movement Climbing + Fitness, Earthtreks, and CATS.

Varsity team athletes have additional opportunities to adventure locally, nationally, and internationally based on age with our Team ABC Boulder outdoor program and outdoor guides.

Varsity athletes are required to commit to the 2022/2023 USA Climbing Season. Team members commit to climbing as a team from August 23rd to the middle of July, celebrating their season with either a Team Outdoor Summer camp in June or, for Nationally qualified athletes, a Nationals travel training camp at the beginning of July.
