At ABC, I lead outdoor programs and coach.
I grew up in Boston.
I live in Boulder because I went to CU Boulder and love being so close to the mountains.
I started climbing when I was 16 years old.
I keep climbing because I love the idea that it is a never ending sport in terms of knowledge you can learn, strength you can gain, and experiences you can have. It’s infinite in the opportunities it presents!
What makes me interesting is that I went around the world on a boat studying environmental issues around the world. In the end, I visited 23 different countries in the 6 months I was gone.
If I were an animal, I would be a Sugar Glider.
The foods I love are salmon and sushi.
If I were a color, I would be Mikado.
When not climbing, I am Slack-lining, fishing, running, fishing, or thinking about climbing.
What I love about ABC because it introduces such an amazing and powerful sport to the youth. I believe that this sport can genuinely change someone’s life and for it to be introduced to these kids at such a young age is so special. I can’t think of anywhere that does it in a more accepting and encouraging way than ABC. I always think about how jealous I am of all the kids that are able to come and join us and how I wish I could turn back time and have grown up climbing at this facility.
