Matt Fultz’s love for rock climbing began in 2002 when his Dad forced him to try it out at a local climbing gym. As soon as he was able to touch the chains at the top of their highest top-rope climb (a staggering 20 feet), he was hooked. In his early years hr won multiple youth national titles. Recently he’s been competing in professional events around the country. His favorite activity, however, is simply hanging out and bouldering with friends and family in places like Rocky Mountain National Park, CO and Joe’s Valley, UT.
He has been a youth climbing coach since 2013. He loves how coaching allows him to interact with kids and lets him share my passion. He loves to have fun with the athletes, and he is committed to teaching them about safety, ethics, and the value of hard work.
