Joslynn Corredor

Jos was raised in Southern California by her single mother and her immigrant Guatemalan grandparents. She was introduced to competitive sports in middle school when she joined her first running team. Having succeeded in elite long-distance running competitions during her high school years, she was recruited to join the Oregon Sate University (D1) Track and Field team. After college she completed an internship at CU Boulder Athletics and passed the certified strength and conditioning specialist exam. Having experienced sports injuries common to endurance athletes, she sought new directions in outdoor sports and strength based injury prevention. She began pursuing climbing, lifting, and functional movement screenings. As she continues to work with adults, she is now sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for elite athletics with the kids at ABC.
