3-5 years old
ABC’s newest and youngest team members demonstrate natural climbing ability and intuitive movement, plus are motivated to climb and develop in a supportive team environment. These young climbers learn body awareness and begin to assess risk in our climbing facility developed specifically for young athletes. Along with fostering camaraderie, a passion for climbing and having fun, the main goal of the Tater Tots program is to establish rock-solid foundations in agility, balance, and coordination.
Competitions are optional at this level, but team members commit to climbing as a Team from August 26th to the middle of May, ending their season with an optional Team Outdoor Summer camp in late May.

Assessment Period
Team ABC requires prospective climbers to partake in a two week assessment period. This entails participating in Team practice and workouts. This gives climbers an opportunity to make sure the Team is a good fit for them, while allowing our coaches to assess their ability and team dynamics in a natural setting.
