Foundational Teams

ABC’s newest and youngest team members demonstrate natural climbing ability and intuitive movement, plus are motivated to climb and develop in a supportive team environment. These young climbers learn body awareness and begin to assess risk in our climbing facility developed specifically for young athletes. Along with fostering camaraderie, a passion for climbing and having fun, the main goal of the Tater Tots program is to establish rock-solid foundations in agility, balance, and coordination.

Along with fostering camaraderie, a passion for climbing, and having fun, the main goal of the Hot Shots program is to establish a rock-solid foundation for basic climbing movement and technique while building strength and confidence.

Team ABC Boulder Super Stars is a traveling select team of young talented athletes that are dedicated to climbing and have a strong desire to compete locally, regionally and nationally. These athletes work together as a team, in a unified effort, to refine individual technique, movement, strength and conditioning. With an emphasis on fun, discipline and hard work, the Super climber grows mentally and physically into either our All Stars, Junior Varsity, or Varsity programs.

Super Stars athletes execute a consistent and aggressive training plan throughout the competition season. Balancing climbing skills with life skills is a challenge met with the grace, poise, intelligence and determination of each Varsity athlete. Team ABC Boulder Super Stars climbers are amongst the most talented and decorated young athletes in the country, developing into possible US Team members and future National, Continental and World Champion climbers.
