Club Kids

Climbers continue to learn and practice indoor climbing skills in a non-competitive environment. Instructors will incorporate physical conditioning and cooperative learning into this two hour class. Instruction is individualized and appropriate for everyone up to a 5.12 climber.  Please note that classes with 2 children or less may be combined.

Belay Policy: Starting at age 7, ABC Kids Climbing introduces belay instruction to children enrolled in our classes and clubs. In these situations, children will have the opportunity to belay each other, while under constant instructor supervision. Belaying is a privilege that may be revoked at any time.

ABC Kids Outdoor Club Classes are designed for children 7 and up to experience outdoor climbing in an engaging, supportive, and responsible way. Led by ABC’s AMGA certified guides, climbers explore Bouldering and Top Roping the various rock types and climbing techniques of Eldorado Canyon, The Flatirons, and Boulder Canyon.

New and beginner climbers build a foundation of physical, mental, and social skills through bouldering and top roping on sandstone and granite – focused on building confidence through learning body awareness, risk assessment, route reading, and communication. 

Returning and experienced climbers build upon their foundation of skills, learning new techniques, movements, and strategies while practicing a balanced climbing ethos – understanding responsible gym to crag transitions and Leave No Trace principles.

With a focus on fun and friends, this engaging, and educational outdoor climbing club is a fun and memorable experience for kids interested in building camaraderie and exploring outdoor climbing.
