Cancellation Policies

Below are our new policies in response to COVID-19. They will take effect on May 21st, 2020. 

Dropped enrollments are honored with a house credit equal to the cost of the remaining classes. In the event ABC Kids Climbing needs to close for up to two weeks, a house credit will be extended to all families. Any closure over two weeks will be handled on an individual basis.

We have extended the period of time in which account credits are valid. Credits previously had to be used within 6 months after being issued. Now, account credits from 2020 may be used through August 2022.

Classes

  • Cancellations prior to first class – 100% account credit given, non-refundable
  • Partial credit given upon request for dropped enrollment at any point through the session.
  • Because of our strict student to coach ratio, missed classes will not result in make-up classes, prorated tuition, or refunds. Students may request a make-up card at the front desk for each missed class, and apply only to the student name on the card. 
    • Cards are currently exchangeable for 50% off a one hour private lesson ($25.00 value). They may also be exchanged for 50% off Parent’s Night Out ($17.50 value) or a free Open Gym once our gym has resumed its regular operations. 
  • Account credits for classes missed will be given in the event of any COVID-19 closures.
  • Missed classes due to illness or suspected exposure to COVID-19 will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

Camps

  • Cancellations over 1 week prior to the first day of camp – 100% credit given, non-refundable
  • Cancellations 48 hours to 1 week prior to the first day of camp – 50% account credit can be given
  • Cancellations 48 hours prior or less – No credits issued for cancellations.
  • For changes to camp enrollments we will credit your account if a difference in cost is applicable.
  • In the event of a gym closure or program cancellation by ABC Kids Climbing due to COVID-19, in-house credits will be given equivalent to each day of missed programming and participants will receive priority booking for next future booking of camp and/or class.

Private Lessons

  • Payment is due upon booking.
  • Cancellations 48 hours or more prior to lesson – 100% account credit given
  • Cancellations 48 hours or less prior to lesson –  No account credit or refund given.
  • If using a make up card for a private lesson, cards can not be used for private lessons with multiple children. Each child must have a make up card for the discount to apply.

Open Gym and Birthday Parties

  • Cancellations at least 24 hours in advance – 100% credit given, non-refundable
  • Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance – No account credit or refund given.

Team ABC

Assessments

  • Cancellations over one week prior to initial assessment – 100% account credit given, or a 100% refund (less a $25 processing fee) given, upon request.
  • Cancellations 24 hours to 1 week prior to initial assessment – 100% account credit given, or a 50% refund (less a $25 processing fee) given, upon request.
  • Cancellations 24 hours or less prior to initial assessment –  100% account credit given, upon request.
  • Prorated refunds/credits are not available for missed practices during assessment or if a child chooses to drop out midway through the assessment period.

Practice

  • Cancellations over one week prior to first practice – 100% account credit given, or a 100% refund (less a $25 processing fee) given, upon request.
  • Cancellations 24 hours to 1 week prior to first practice – 100% account credit given, or a 50% refund (less a $25 processing fee) given, upon request.
  • Cancellations 24 hours or less prior to first practice –  100% account credit given, upon request.
  • Prorated refunds/credits are not available for missed practices or if a child chooses to drop out midway through the session.

Training Camps and Outdoor Camps (Domestic)

  • $100 non-refundable deposit will be included in the cost Training Camps or Domestic Outdoor Camps
  • Cancellations over 2 weeks prior to the first day of camp – 100% credit given for cancellations one week prior to first day of camp; or, a refund may be given upon request for any unforeseen or extenuating circumstances. Refunded amount will exclude a $100 deposit.
  • Cancellations 1 week to 2 weeks prior to the first day of camp – upon request a 50% refund can be given. Refunded amount will exclude a $100 deposit.
  • Cancellations 1 week or less – No refunds or cancellations.
  • For changes to camp enrollments we will credit your account if a difference in cost is applicable.

Outdoor Camps (International)

  • $500 non-refundable deposit will be included in the cost for International Outdoor Camps.
  • Cancellations over 2 weeks prior to the first day of camp – 100% credit given for cancellations one week prior to first day of camp; or, a refund may be given upon request for any unforeseen or extenuating circumstances. Refunded amount will exclude a $500 deposit.
  • Cancellations 1 week  to 2 weeks prior to the first day of camp – upon request a 50% refund can be given. Refunded amount will exclude a $500 deposits.
  • Cancellations 1 week or less – No refunds or cancellations.
  • For changes to camp enrollments we will credit your account if a difference in cost is applicable.

Contract Termination Fee

  • A $500 contract termination fee will be applied upon early termination of a contract for any reason.
