Week-by-week classes, pre-registration required
Summer 2017 (5/30 – 8/13), Fall 2017 (8/19 – 11/19)
Youth climbers of all abilities who are 6 and older may join us Tuesday nights for a combination of open gym and class. This program is for kids who enjoy climbing and want to develop and enhance their skills but are unable to commit to a full session of classes. This program will run on a flexible schedule, meaning you can enroll for one week or many. Class focus for beginner climbers will be climbing fundamentals and building kids’ confidence on the wall. More experienced climbers will work toward mastering the basics and then continue onto more challenging skills. This may include route reading, projecting, and top-roping. Club kids will focus on advanced climbing techniques, their own projects or goals.
These drop-in classes run from 7pm-8:30pm for $20 per class. Climbers are invited to stay after class and continue climbing at Open Gym, free of charge. To ensure individualized attention, classes are limited, so please register in advance.
